Anchor Hocking White Vitrock Hoover Vase Red Flamingos

Produced by Anchor Hocking at the same time they were producing Fire King this opaque white glass is called Vitrock.

The piece is Anchor Hocking's Hoover shape vase and the decoration is red Flamingos in a variety of poses. The top edge is folded back into a flat rim and it is scalloped.

Hocking made this vase in a variety of colors including Forest Green and Ruby Red and with at least two decorations on the Vitrock. However, I see the Flamingo decoration more often in blue than in the red.

It is in excellent condition with no damage and minimal wear to the base. It measures approximate 9" tall and is 3 1/ 8" wide at the base and about 5" wide across the broadest part.

It is not marked and the bottom is finished with an indented circle.
