Antique Beatty & Sons Milk Glass Hobnail Dewdrop Tumbler
This vintage tumbler is described in Tom Bredehoft's Glass Tumblers Identification & Value Guide. It is called variously "Dewdrop," and "Hobnail," for the 162 white hobs arranged around the outside in 9 rows of 18, on opalescent glass. Dimensions: The tumbler measures approximately 4" high x 2 1/2" in diameter. Marks/Dates: c. 1888 by A. J. Beatty & Sons. Condition: No chips or cracks to the glass. One hob is chipped. A few hobs are deformed but such is the nature of glass manufactured in the 1880's. If you have any questions or would like additional photos, please let us know.
