Fenton Glass AQUA CREST 10" Double Crimped Vase #189

This Fenton Glass vase is the elusive #189 ovoid shape, with a double crimped, handspun aqua opaline glass rim.

For over 105 years, Fenton has hand crafted some of our loveliest American collectible art glass. We are sorry to hear that they have stopped production.

Dimensions: Measures approximately 10 1/2" tall.

Marks/Dates: c. 1941-1943. Unmarked. Described but not shown in Whitmyer's Fenton Art Glass Patterns 1939-1980.

Condition: No cracks or chips. There is an odd "U" shaped mark at the top inside (see photo). It does not go through to the outside and it doesn't look like a repair. Perhaps it is a tool mark from the manufacturing process.
