This mug, shown on page 159 of Gene Florence's 2002 Anchor Hocking's Fire-King Identification Guide & More, is considered rare. One side features "Rio Grande - the Action railroad," and the other side has a map of the route the railroad took from Denver, Colorado to Pueblo and Ogden, Utah.

The railroad operated from 1870 until 1983, with a rich history that incorporated the Gold Rush and the expansion west.

Dimensions: Each mug measures 3 1/2" high

Marks/Dates: c. 1970. Stamped with the Fire King logo on the bottom.

Condition: No chips, cracks or other damage.
