This square shell pink, pedestal bowl and lid resemble a wedding cake, with its petal decoration around the rim. Perhaps that is why it is called a "wedding bowl."
Period ads described Shell Pink as "...lovely color and desing make women admire it - and buy it!"
Dimensions: The bowl measures 6 1/2" high.
Marks/Dates: c. 1957-1959. Shown on page 207 of Hazel Marie Weatherman's Colored Glassware of the Depression Era 2.
Condition: No chips, cracks or other damage.
