This pattern, originally called Klondyke, is better known today as Fluted Scrolls, or Jackson. According to Carwile's Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass, this is a puff box, also known as a baby butter dish. The base has three scrolled feet, and fans around the rim, while the domed lid has threaded circles and a knob finial.

Dimensions: The base measures 5" in diameter and the lid is 4 1/8". Together they stand 5" high.

Marks/Dates: c. 1898.

Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage.
