Kanawha Art Glass Crackled Crackle Orange Tomato Pumpkin Fruit
This piece was made by Kanawha Glass some time between 1957 and 1987. I'm not sure if it's a tomato or a pumpkin. It is shown in the Book "Crackle Glass From Around the World Identification & value Guide" by the Weitmans. They call it a tomato. Mine is orange in color with a green stem. It measures approx. 3 3/4" tall x 2 3/8" across widest point. There are no nicks, chips or cracks. There is a tiny dimple with a pin head size piece of ash in it which was made during manufacture. This is a wonderful piece of mid century crackled art glass. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for looking!!
