Antique Fenton Custard Glass Bon Bon Blue Bird Unusual
The pattern or design is what makes it hard to find. It is called Blue Bird and is very rarely found on any of Fenton's pieces. For a while it was thought to be Northwood but it has since been attributed to Fenton. The color is on the greener side of Custard not quite creamy but very striking. It measures 2 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" long and 6 1/4" wide from back of handle to back of handle. It is identified as Bon Bon # 4 aka Oval Bon Bon. It is in excellent condition with no damage. There are no chips cracks or nicks. There are some small manufacturing striations which are typical of glass from this era of production. For more items please check out my other stores:
