Blue Opalescent Dot Optic Coin Spot Bulbous Syrup Pitcher Victorian Northwood

Blue Opalescent Dot Optic Coin Spot Bulbous Syrup Pitcher Victorian Northwood
This late 19th early 20th Century Syrup Pitcher measures just 6 1/4" tall and approximately 5 3/4" across including the handle. It may have been made at Northwood.

The color is a brilliant blue, not at all washed out and the dot optic or coin spot pattern does not extend up into the neck. There are a total of 8 rows of spots that extend down into the base. They are flat  on the body of the pitcher and slightly raised on the base.  The handle is applied. The neck shows a faint wash of opalescence.

The lid is permanently attached and does show some signs of wear and minor rusting but it is in working condition. It appears ot be of a very light weight metal, perhaps tin?

It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or nicks, There is one scratch on the body that is about 1/2" long I find no others. The bottom is clean and not cloudy.
