Produced for the Stretch Glass Society's (SGS) 25th Anniversary in 1999, this is a lovely Violet Satin Stretch Bowl in the flared Tulip shape. This bowl has been in Fenton's line for over 70 years and is a shape common to the early glass that Fenton produced.

The bowl stands about 3" tall. It is flared to 9 1/2" across the top. The base measures about 2 3/4" wide.

The stretch treatment has been applied to both the interior and exterior of the bow almost giving it a crackled appearance. The iridescence bounces all the colors of the rainbow from the surface.

It is in excellent condition with no damage and minimal wear to the base.  There are 3 stilt spots on the base where there is no iridization. That happens when the bowl is placed on the stilts for spraying the stretch treatment.

The bottom is marked with the Fenton oval logo and the words SGS 25 Anniversary 1999.
