This whimsical vintage bird is Venetian art glass. It has cranberry or fuschia pink glass cased in clear glass with a clear comb that has gold aventurine in it. I believe the eyes are made with millefiori. There is a partial label intact on the bottom. The bird measures approx. 8 1/2" long x 1 3/4" wide x 4 1/2" tall. No nicks, chips or cracks. There is a slight rough feel on the comb on the birds head, but I believe this was made from the tools used to shape the glass.
