This small hen on a nest is a "mystery" according to Shirley Smith in her Glass Hen On Nest Identification Guide, page 200.

It has been attributed most often to Hazel Atlas because it has an identical X-hatch pattern on the base, but also to Anchor Hocking, as well as Indiana because it has the round circle on the top of the back. The hen's tail is flat and she has a red cold painted comb, wattle and eye.

Dimensions: The base is 4 3/8" x 3 3/8". The top is 4 1/16" x 3".

Marks/Dates: Unmarked.

Condition: No cracks, chips or other damage.
